I wrote this chorus in Norwegian for a brief reflection I did at an officers' retreat in September 2001. I also used it a couple of times in holiness-meetings in the Temple corps, and I more or less forgot about it when we served in EET for det first periode. Returning in 2007, I discovered that the chorus was still in use - also in other churces.
I believe it was Liv Raegevik-Slinn who asked me to translate it into English.
It was also translated into Italian in 2022.
